Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026
These Terms govern your access to and use of Doctorine (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
The Service
Doctorine provides a Git-safe, OpenAPI-first developer-documentation and API-portal platform. We may update, improve, or change features over time. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
Accounts & acceptable use
- You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.
- You must not abuse, overload, reverse-engineer, or attempt to breach the Service or its tenant isolation.
- You must not use the Service for unlawful content or to infringe others' rights.
- We may suspend accounts that threaten the security, integrity, or fair use of the platform.
Your content
You retain all rights to the documentation, specifications, and data you create or import. You grant us the limited licence needed to host, render, and serve that content to your audience as you direct. You are responsible for having the rights to the content you publish.
Plans, billing & credits
Paid plans and usage-based credits are billed per the pricing in effect at purchase. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We will give reasonable notice of price changes. Free-tier limits and fair-use policies apply.
Availability & warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Doctorine will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms. On termination you may export your data for a reasonable period before deletion.
Governing law & changes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with an updated date, and continued use constitutes acceptance. Questions: legal@doctorine.xyz.
